DESCRIPTION
Comprehensive blended learning course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who require certification for work or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislative requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. This blended course, combines a web-based learning component with a 1-day in-person instructor led training class. Once you have registered for your First Aid (ILT) session, you will receive an email to the web-based course link from Canadian Red Cross | Croix-Rouge Canadienne. Please remember this web-based course is a pre-requisite for entry to the ILT session of your First Aid training, and a certificate of completion must be provided to BASES upon arrival to your ILT session.
COMPLETION
• Successfully demonstrate skills and critical steps
• Min. 75% mark for written knowledge evaluation
• Attend and participate in 100% of the course
Note: This class has a minimum enrollment of 6 participants, if this is not met 24 hours prior to the start of class, BASES will reschedule the ILT session to the next available date.
