
Confined Space Entry & Attendant (CSE&A)

Description
This instructor-led course is designed for anyone who may enter into confined spaces; or who may fulfill the responsibilities of the confined space attendant; or who manage workers going into or attending confined spaces.
This course is valid for three (3) years.
This Confined Space Entry & Attendant course is an awareness-level training program designed to be supplemented by site-specific information and training defined by the employer. The goal of this program is to provide participants with the general knowledge necessary to work safely in and around confined spaces.
Participants will learn about the regulatory requirements under Ontario Regulation 632/05, including the legal responsibilities of the employer and constructor, the entrant, the attendant, and the rescue team. As well, participants will learn about confined spaces hazards and the various measures used to control them.
